In addition to translating, we can also provide foreign language narration for your video or audio production projects. As with our other services, all our narrators are native speakers and will make sure that your project is appropriate for its intended audience.

Some other services offer to desktop publish your documents. When needed, we will have your documents offset printed and bound to your specifications, and at competitive rates!

Localization

This refers to ensuring that the language used in translation is the language actually spoken by the intended audience. There are multiple dialects of each language, as well as the more generic, academic or international version. We want to make sure that your message reaches its audience with the intended impact. Others charge extra for this service. At Virginia Language Services, it is standard.

Turnaround Time

Our standard turnaround time for document translation is five pages in three business days and multiples thereof. A page is defined as one 8 1/2" x 11" sheet containing an average of 200 words. All text over 200 words is counted as additional pages. To calculate turnaround time for most jobs, take total number of words, divide by 200 and multiply by .6. No one is faster in getting the finished work back to you.

The instruction is centered around you and your level of proficiency in your chosen language. And there are never more than three students in any one class. Foreign Language Narration

If your company needs video or audio production, come to us. We can provide you with state of the art production facilities and native language announcers at competitive rates. We will translate the script into the target language, arrange for studio time, handle the video and audio production and provide you with as many copies of the finished product as you need, or drop ship them for you to their final destination. Studio time will be invoiced separately, as will duplication.
